Care group set to move premises |

A major Londonderry-based care group is to move into new Waterside headquarters today. Mary McColgan, chairwoman of Partnership Care West, said she discussed need for a centre 10 years ago with the late Peter McLachlan, who was then chief executive of Bryson House. "It's like a dream come true," she said as she accepted the keys of their new HQ at Gortfoyle House, on Spencer Road, from the Waterside Development Trust. |

Hearts of gold: careworkers recognised at Valentine's Day |

The spirit of St. Valentine is alive and well at Partnership Care West in Derry/L'derry. The Spencer Road -based charity provides a range of social care services. It held an event Friday to recognise staff who are there every day of the year for the more than 120 users of its domiciliary care service. |

Opening to pursue a career in care |

Young people interested in a career in the caring services are being given the opportunity of a modern apprenticeship with Partnership Care West. And while undergoing the apprenticeship recruits will also be able to work towards National Vocational Qualifications with the North West Institute of further and Higher Education. |
